☀️ REVIEW: People We Meet on Vacation ☀️

Well, you all know rom coms aren’t always my thing but I was really surprised by last year’s Beach Read by Emily Henry, so I was more than happy to grab this one when it became available on Book of the Month.

It made the perfect pool read for this week. I love that the two characters are quirky and unique and that they were friends without romantic overtures to start with. Non-traditional relationships are the best. I also liked that while they both had feelings for one another at different times they really value their friendship and were loathe to mess it up for a fling. Usually characters who don’t speak about their motions who end up in frustrating situations of their own making can be an annoying aspect of a story, I thought in this case it was actually very noble. And when they started talking they were quite open with one another.

Definitely the type of relationship story I can get behind. There was respect and kindness, no insta-love, no cheating or backstabbing and the characters were actually good people. This one gets a comfy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me.

We are flying home tonight… What do you like to do on your last day of vacation?

I am the Vice President of Clinical Affairs for a medical device company where my job is to promote the utility of the device to doctors. I have science and business degrees and have editorial experience in medical communications. In college, I served as an Editorial Assistant for a healthcare communications company and have served on two editorial boards for peer-reviewed journals. In my free time, I always have a book in my hand... or two or three! On average, I read 20 books a month. I have looked to combine two of my skill sets to review on Goodreads and promote books on Instagram that I love to other readers. I'm open to partnering with publishers as an influencer for book tours, giveaways etc.
