REVIEW: The Storyteller

Another fabulous memoir from a star who I never thought would do such a thing. I enjoyed spending a few hours with Dave as he reminisced at his rise as a star, fanboyed over his favorite artists and recounted the memorable moments with his family and life on the road.

I loved his honesty and humility about being a rockstar who is a fan of rock stars. The truth about the nerves and the stress that is balanced with the adulation and joy. He definitely meanders a bit so don’t expect a straightforward biography. He also stays to the high points and memorable moments without focusing too much on the music business aspects or song writing. Hopefully someday we’ll get that perspective too.
I think I was most amazed how dedicated he was to his children and being a present and loving father.

He reads his own audio as well, so it’s like sitting down and having a beer with an old friend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What’s the last memoir you enjoyed?

I am the Vice President of Clinical Affairs for a medical device company where my job is to promote the utility of the device to doctors. I have science and business degrees and have editorial experience in medical communications. In college, I served as an Editorial Assistant for a healthcare communications company and have served on two editorial boards for peer-reviewed journals. In my free time, I always have a book in my hand... or two or three! On average, I read 20 books a month. I have looked to combine two of my skill sets to review on Goodreads and promote books on Instagram that I love to other readers. I'm open to partnering with publishers as an influencer for book tours, giveaways etc.
