REVIEW: The Fifth Daughter Of Thorn Ranch

Emma is a fifth generation female owner of The Thorn, A massive ranch in Texas. The women and her family have only ever had one daughter and the daughter is in charge of it all. The ranch is such a massive property that not all of it has been explored. When Emma goes out on her favorite horse an accident happens and she discovers that the ranch is not all what it seems.

It’s hard to give a proper synopsis or review of this without any spoilers. This is definitely one of the more unusual stories I’ve read in my life, both the writing style and the plot. I loved a strong female protagonist who showed strength and leadership but also vulnerability. I liked the historical elements and was really intrigued by the discovery Emma made and the lessons she learned along the way.
